Bereavement and Grief Counselling

Have you recently experienced a loss and feel in need of support?
If so, please take a few moments to complete my simple contact me form to arrange an initial consultation. Together, we can talk about how you might begin to come to terms with your loss, learn to live alongside it, and gradually find your way back to meaning, passion, and purpose in life.
Loss takes many forms. It may be:
- The death of a loved one
- The end of a relationship
- A miscarriage
- A change in health or ability
- A child leaving home
- The loss of a home or homeland
- The end of a meaningful role
When we lose someone or something deeply important to us, the world can feel turned upside down. Alongside the practical challenges, we may experience grief, sadness, anger, shock, numbness, despair, confusion, or even a crisis of faith. Without the right support and space to process these feelings, grief can sometimes deepen into depression or express itself through unhelpful coping strategies, such as addiction.
How I Can Help
If you are seeking support, we will take time together to honour your loss and the emotions that come with it. I will encourage you to feel and express what you need to, and to be deeply heard without judgement. While I am mindful of common stages of grief, I also recognise that everyone’s journey is unique and unfolds at its own pace.
When you are ready, I will help you take steps toward re-engaging with life, rediscovering meaning, and reconnecting with the joy and opportunities that still remain and those yet to come.
